That's a stack of unused (but usable) manila folders and usable scratch paper. Above that stack: music like "The Creation" and Brahms's "A German Requiem" (the most amazing piece of music ever composed).
And up until now I thought all we (of note) had in common was a love for Pete and Pete...(pretty easy to guess how I wandered onto this page)
ReplyDeleteI've been - in the loosest, most basic denotation of the word - "collecting" toys since I was young and have a huge box of 'em. I'm semi-picky, though: They can't be very "big", they can't be "plushy", and they can't "do" anything. Apparently the term for that is "figurines" but I don't think that really encompasses is. As long as it fits those descriptors I'm completely happy with it. The ability to stand on its own is preferred, but not necessary. And, of course, there are exceptions to each of those rules if sentimental or awesome enough.
I also happen to completely unintentionally collect manila folders and more intentionally collect scrap paper. But that's less interesting :)
Anyway, I thought I'd comment a sort of "hello" and a small sadness that this blog hasn't been updated since early 2009.
